No single moment.<\/p>\n

Just years of small things that built up.<\/p>\n

Miscommunication.<\/p>\n

Frustration.<\/p>\n

Resentment.<\/p>\n

And by the time we realized how far apart we\u2019d grown\u2026<\/p>\n

we were already too far gone.<\/p>\n

When I found out I was pregnant, I won\u2019t lie\u2014<\/p>\n

I panicked.<\/p>\n

Not because of the baby.<\/p>\n

Be present.<\/p>\n

Without being together.<\/p>\n

We talk about logistics.<\/p>\n

Doctor\u2019s appointments.<\/p>\n

Future plans.<\/p>\n

Custody arrangements.<\/p>\n

Some days, it\u2019s easy.<\/p>\n

Some days, it\u2019s not.<\/p>\n

There are still moments where old arguments try to creep back in.<\/p>\n

Where emotions get tangled.<\/p>\n

\n

But then we remind ourselves\u2014<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t about us anymore.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s about the little person who didn\u2019t ask for any of this\u2026<\/p>\n

but deserves the best version of both of us.<\/p>\n
